Privacy: what this site collects

This is a static site. There are no accounts, no forms, no newsletter and no cookies of my own. The only things on a page that reach off the site are the GetYourGuide booking widgets and the web font.

What I collect

Nothing myself. The pages are plain files served as they are: no login, no comment box, no field that asks for your name. The hosting provider keeps ordinary server logs, which record a request and an IP address for a limited time, as every web server does. I build no profile and I sell nothing.

The GetYourGuide widgets

The availability widgets on the ticket and review pages are iframes served by GetYourGuide and loaded by a script from the same platform. They may set cookies so that a booking made after clicking through is attributed to this site, which is how the commission works. If you go on to book, you do it on GetYourGuide under its own privacy policy, and everything you type there — name, e-mail, card — is entered there and never here. The pages those widgets sit on.

Fonts, maps and outside links

The typeface is loaded from Google Fonts, which sees a request for the font file. The contact page links to Google Maps for the castle’s position, and a few pages link to the castle’s own site for its hours, its tariff and its own shop. Those are ordinary links that open in a new tab, and nothing loads from them until you click.

Your choices

Blocking third-party cookies in your browser breaks nothing here; the widgets may simply stop attributing a booking, which costs me and not you. Questions about any of it go to contact, and what this site is, where its facts come from and when they were read is on about.
